Do I need a separate circuit for my AC?
Yes, for any split AC of 1 ton or above. It needs a 16A point on 4 sq mm cable running back to its own way at the distribution board. Running an AC off a 6A lighting point or an extension board is one of the most common serious hazards we find in NCR homes — it heats the cable inside the wall where you cannot see it. If your flat does not have a dedicated point, we can add one as electrical work in the same visit.
What is vacuuming and why does it matter?
Before the refrigerant is released into a newly connected system, the air and moisture inside the pipework must be pumped out. Moisture inside a refrigerant loop causes acid formation and eventual compressor damage, and air raises head pressure so the unit cools worse and costs more to run. It takes fifteen to twenty minutes and it is the most commonly skipped step in Indian AC installation, because nobody can tell by looking.
Can you install an AC in a society tower?
Yes, and it is most of what we do in Gurugram, Noida and Ghaziabad. Two things matter: many societies restrict where an outdoor unit may be mounted on the facade, and core drilling usually needs prior maintenance clearance. A scheduled slot with that clearance already arranged completes in one visit; an urgent booking without it frequently does not.
